Keep up with your Inbox

Inbox collects items addressed to you. Activity records workspace history; Inbox depends on your role, access and the item's current state.

Choose the Inbox scope

The top-bar Inbox icon opens the current workspace's Inbox when you are in a workspace. Use Inbox scope → Account for account notices, or open /inbox. To return to the workspace's review notices, select your workspace's name under Inbox scope.

Review you can decide now; changes requested from youWorkspace, shown by nameEligible Editors or the assigned recipient open the review and decide or revise it.
Another person's approval or rejection of your changeWorkspace, shown by nameThe author checks the result and actual publication state. Your own and automatic decisions do not create these messages.
Workspace join request or resultAccountOwners handle requests; requesters read the result. Results remain for 14 days. Select Account if a join request is absent from the workspace Inbox.
Access Key expiryAccountThe key's owner creates a replacement key, updates clients, then revokes the old key. Notices cover expiry within 7 days or the previous 7 days; there is no renewal action.

The top-bar unread dot covers this workspace and your Account Inbox, not every workspace you belong to. It refreshes when the view loads, the workspace changes, the browser window regains focus or an Inbox mark changes. It does not poll continuously. If the dot remains, check both scopes and use continuation pages where available; another workspace's unread review will not affect this workspace's dot.

Read, archive and continue

  1. Select Inbox scope and the available state filter: Inbox, Unread or Archived.
  2. Open a notice to inspect its destination and current state. Opening an unread linked notice marks the revision you saw as read.
  3. Use Mark as read or Mark as unread as needed. Messages support Archive and Move back to Inbox; current-state items support read/unread only.
  4. Use Load more when offered.

A current review notice can disappear after a decision, superseding change or another person's claim. An undone decision removes its result message. A read mark applies only to the revision you saw, so new information can be unread again. Reading or archiving a notice does not approve a review, grant membership or change a key's expiry. Complete that action on its source screen.
